Rates are the highest they have been since 2001 and some think they will go higher through the end of the year. Property values are not likely to go lower (ever), so buy now and be prepared to refinance in the future when rates improve. Divorce the landlord, date the rate and marry the house!
We have options with zero down, $1,000 min down with no PMI, 3% down, 3.5% down so don’t let lack of down payment get in the way – rates will improve (we all expect) in the future so “date the rate” until a lower rate is available vis refinance.
